Meet Sergei of GNPI-Eurasia
How long have you worked with GNPI?
I have partnered with GNPI since 1997. The first project we made together was the "Bible and Science" video series on VHS tapes.
What is your favorite book of the Bible, and why?
I would say I have three favorite books in the Bible, not only one. In general, I love Ephesians as a summit of the salvation message. It reveals the mystery of the administration of God's grace! In times of trouble (war, pandemic, losses), I love Revelation for its message of hope and comfort: everything is bad; it is going to be even worse, but we have already won. Nevertheless, at every moment, I love the book I am reading. I love it for the new wisdom it reveals every time I read it, for the exciting feeling of surprise: was this really written here all the time?
What do you love about GNPI, and what excites you about the future?
I love GNPI for the most effective execution of order: What is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs (Matthew 10:27). Media allows us to deliver the message to the most people at once, to the most remote corners, and even to the most restricted areas. Expansion of its impact excites me about the future of GNPI. Media is the most effective language of the 21st century. It’s the modern-day Agora. All the Internet users spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas (Acts 17:21). GNPI proclaims the Good News at the exact place people are coming for the news.
