It’s been exactly one year since I began working at GNPI, and I can absolutely say the ministry has forever impacted me. I never believed I would end up doing missions work in Joplin, Missouri, just minutes from my family’s new home, but God always knows best. God called me to missions at 13 years old, with a particular burden for the regions of Asia and Africa. However, I never dreamed that I would be able to work with 23 teams around the world simultaneously. That’s because when we dream, we often limit our amazing God. He is so good, and he cares so much about the desires of our hearts. He always has something that exceeds our earthly expectations because he is the God of the miraculous.
At GNPI I serve as the creative content designer, which means I wear many hats, but my favorite roles are designing the print pieces you receive in the mail, managing social media, and helping with the creative aspects of the mission. As a natural creative, I am so thankful that I work in a capacity where I can use this gift to help the Kingdom. The funny thing is I never imagined doing this after graduation, but now I can’t imagine I’d be doing anything else! When I designed my first print piece, I felt so much responsibility to capture the mission of GNPI creatively—in a nutshell, that’s my daily goal. There are so many incredible projects going on at GNPI, and each day I am working on the best ways to get that information out to you all—our GNPI family. Perhaps that is one of the most wonderful aspects of this ministry—YOU! Because without you, the ministry wouldn’t be possible. Since day one I have met so many incredible donors—men and women all over the world who believe in the mission of GNPI and sacrifice to equip GNPI.
Truthfully, creating media to share Jesus would be much harder if I didn’t have a state-of-the-art desktop computer to support design applications from Adobe. I surely wouldn’t be able to create colorful print pieces to share the Good News happening around the world without a desk, quality photos from our teams (using quality cameras), and other technologies. Those print pieces wouldn’t end up in your mailbox without you! Our GNPI family keeps the lights on and every dollar you give to GNPI blesses the kingdom exponentially. So, thank you because I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you. There would be no creative content designer without you. There would be no one-year reflection of the divine orchestration of God and his call on my life. I pray God blesses you, and that in this next year together, we can create media to share Jesus to reach far more people than ever before. Ultimately, we want to all hear those words, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.” Let’s make heaven crowded, my friend, so it can be a multicultural celebration of our wonderful God. It makes me think of that old song, “When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be.”
