Though the journey is long . . .

Apr 25, 2023

And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:15)

You may gain a greater appreciation for this verse in Romans after you hear about the recent trip of Timothy from GNPI-SE Asia.

Because of God's protection and your prayers, our team visited two new villages safely over two and a half weeks.

We took a long journey to convince and bring people to Christ and to activate people in sharing the truth.

Last month, we flew to the capital city of the state, then we traveled by car for two days, and then we walked for two more days.

There is no road to reach this area. There is no internet access either.

One of my coworkers and his friend went on to the most remote village near the border to do a training session there.

They walked four days to reach this village, crossing through several gates guarded by military forces.

For an added challenge, it rained the whole week, and the streams flooded.

The village is mostly Christian, so the authorities are trying to eliminate believers in the area by distributing drugs among young Christians.

With your support, these coworkers left the church leaders very encouraged.

Now the leaders are trained to share about Christ in this Buddhist area where Christians and Muslims are oppressed, and we will continue to follow up with them.

In another township, we stayed and shared how to convince and bring people to Christ.

This group told us the teaching sessions caused an awakening for them.

Praise the Lord!

Thank you for fueling the gospel in SE Asia!
