GNPI workers throughout this region are safe.
They now have the opportunity to provide some basic needs, show the love of Jesus, and encourage families who lost loved ones, homes, or both in the recent 7.7 earthquake.
Timothy, GNPI-SE Asia regional director, reports that people are sleeping on the ground because their homes have been destroyed.
Due to the destruction, they are unable to work and are in urgent need of rice and oil. With the rainy season approaching, they also need rain shelters.
Since there is no electricity, providing solar lamps would be the best help for them. Solar lamps would also help them avoid snakes.
Some people are suffering from diarrhea, so assistance with household medicines is also necessary.
