How do you prepare for transitions in life?

Aug 03, 2021

Each year, as summer comes to an end, we often find ourselves in transition. Perhaps you are preparing children for a new school year, kicking off the fall schedule at church, or even turning your attention to a new sports season. Life is full of transitions, big and small, and we often prepare in anticipation of them. But have you given much thought to the transition from this earth into eternity?

As we enter the arms of Jesus, we can give those left behind peace in handling our final wishes. Creating an estate plan is a critical step in ensuring that our families and loved ones have guidance once we’re gone.

According to a survey by AARP, 60% of Americans do not have an estate plan. While making decisions that require us to think about death might not be easy, they are still important decisions to make. Being prepared helps us not only steward our resources well and in a manner that glorifies God, but it also helps our loved ones deal with a big transition after our passing.

How GNPI Can Help

How can you prepare your loved ones for this transition now? We recommend starting with this estate planning guide from CDF Capital. GNPI would be honored to assist you in this important step of stewardship. We are available by email (mschrage@gnpi.org) or by phone (417-782-0060) to answer any questions you may have and to pray with you for God’s guidance.
