A Tribute to Michael Nyandoro: Ziden and Tom Nutt reflect on the life of a dear friend who played a key role in establishing GNPI.
Tom shares a few highlights:

Ziden shares some special memories.
Helen and I first met Michael in October 1961 when he attended a Bible Study for young workers in our backyard in Gwelo, S. Rhodesia. Michael was baptized at the end of that month.
Michael said, "I had to tell my mother and people about Jesus!"
So, when the family he worked for refused to give Michael time off the next day, he left his job, rode his bicycle 115 miles to Mhondoro, and told them of "this Jesus."
That kind of commitment marked his entire life of dedication and service.

Michael moved with our family in April 1962 to begin what became Chidamoyo Mission.
He and his family moved with us to Sinoia in 1969 to help begin Good News Productions.
One message received on October 8, 2025, said, "We have lost a valuable man whose work and track record is inspirational to us young preachers. He fought a good fight.”

It was January 2018 when our families were last together. As we met, Helen said to Michael Nyandoro's wife, Joyce, "Now they can both die happy."
Michael was truly one of the greatest men of God and family friends I've ever known. May comfort rest upon his wife Joyce and family.
