We Are GNPI: Meet Isaac Mubogi

Nov 24, 2020

We are GNPI: 110 talented staff located around the world, seven dedicated board members, and you—one of the thousands of faithful prayer and financial partners. It’s only when we all work together, with God as our head, that we can effectively create media and share Jesus. So let’s take some time and get to know each other a little better.

Let’s meet Isaac Mubogi, a production assistant from GNPI-Uganda.

What’s your favorite book of the Bible, and why?

The book of Romans. I love it because it streamlines how to live a life of purpose as a Christian, and Paul answers fundamental themes in life. The first eight chapters address sin, salvation, and sanctification. Chapters 9-11 expound on the power of the Almighty God to accomplish his purpose in this broken and rebellious world, which in turn builds an individual’s faith. Finally, chapters 12-16 provide a blueprint on how to live a Christian life in a world that has rejected God and is desperately hopeless.

What’s your favorite food?

I really don’t have a specific favorite as it keeps changing. Currently, it’s spiced rice with pasted beef. I prefer the beef smoked or dried with a thick ground-nut paste.

What is something surprising about you?

I love walking down the streets just after sunset while enjoying the beauty of streetlights with the cool air blowing over me. It’s beautiful!

Why do you love GNPI, and what excites you about the future?

It is humbling to be part of a worldwide welcoming and loving family that creates media content to reach out to communities with the message of Christ. Being a Christian, this helps me combine my purpose as a child of God with my profession in media.

I am excited about reaching the next soul, the next soul, and the next one through media for the glory of God.
