Thank you for joining the GNPI prayer team to impact the world.
“He must become greater; I must become less.”— John 3:30 (NIV)
A Good Platform among Muslims: Christian workers in Tanzania write, “Praise the Lord! We are grateful for the Solar Kit which has been instrumental in proclaiming the Gospel in a Muslim dominated school. The school has 431 pupils and only six pupils are Christians. The headmaster allows us to show films to the pupils. The entire school has been turning out on Wednesday and Friday afternoons to watch the Old Testament movies. This has given us a good platform to share with these children without resistance. After the films, we give our conclusion and explain where those biblical principles are found in Scripture. We believe the Word of God is being sown in these young souls, and we expect to obtain a great harvest in the future. We also believe God will give us favor in other schools and open more doors to reach out to those who don’t know Christ.”
National Television Broadcast in India: Manee Massey of GNPI-Damoh, India, writes, “Pray for the Lord to make our national Christmas broadcast as impactful as possible. The program will include a Gospel presentation and two music videos which include children and young adults. We will follow up with the viewers to share more Christian materials, answer their questions, and connect them with believers in their areas.”
Resources from Occupied Territories: Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Eurasia writes, “Praise the Lord! The delivery of the first of two loads of books shipped to the mainland Ukraine was one of the month’s most exciting highlights. After many years of publishing, we had about three tons of the books stored in the occupied territories. We are sending them to Russia and to other countries of the former Soviet Union. A portion of this shipment was our personal library containing a great variety of best books on apologetics, creation science, exegesis, homiletics, and Christian leadership, which I had collected in almost 30 years of the ministry. With great joy we have decided to donate them all to the library of Ukrainian Evangelical Seminary. Thus, the books will be put to the best use for the Kingdom’s sake! Please join our prayers for the students who will have access to them now!”
Signs of Bible Translation in Ghana: Project Nomad is a multifaceted tool reaching souls and changing lives around the world. The team in Tamale, Ghana, is using their training as they translate the Bible and create a sign language for the people of Ghana. Pray for them to have God’s wisdom in this important task for the 260,000 hearing impaired people in the country.
Offering Hope to Filipinos in 2018: Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Manila, Philippines, says, “We have moved the taping for the new Hope Matters, too! series to January. We will launch it in February to coincide with the most popular topic of all time, love and love relationships. This also gives us breathing room to prepare more episodes for Faith Matters, too! Thanks for all your prayers!”
