“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
— Psalm 34:4 (NIV)
Good News in Guatemala: GNPI ministry partner Pablo Perales writes, “Criba, our production about a young man who is at the crossroads of several important life decisions aired on Channel 26 last weekend in Guatemala. Their programming schedule shows they have our other two films, Sin Alternativa and Promesa de Amor in the lineup for the week. This channel is one of the most important of the country with repeaters on various cable systems. Praise the Lord for these opportunities to share the Good News throughout Guatemala.”
National Peace Rally: Isaac Masiga and his team at GNPI-Nairobi, Kenya, streamed a live broadcast for the national day of prayer in Kenya last month. Isaac says, “We had a turnout of nearly 50,000 people who came to pray for the country. The event was a prayer rally named National Peace and Destiny of Kenya, and it unified churches from all denominations in Kenya. Please continue to pray for our nation as we hold elections this week.”
God’s Blessing: Timothy Jai Kumar of Project Nomad-Chennai, India, writes, “The Lord blessed our training in the Middle East. We trained 17 young people, and met with a local Christian man who is willing to provide ongoing nurturing, mentoring, and supervision for the team as they work to create and distribute videos to reach the target audience.”
Finish Line: Please pray for the final editing and completion of the funding for the New Angle Media project. A portion of this interactive series for children and their parents launches this month. The finished series will include 10 stories from the Old Testament and 10 stories from the New Testament.
A Highlight: Stephen Muturi of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, writes, “Our ministry partners went to one of the Lake Victoria islands last month. A highlight of the trip was seeing one of the local evangelists share the Gospel with the help of a Solar Kit and then baptize three people during that time. We are glad to be a part of what God is doing through these evangelists.”
