Prayers & Praises

“The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” — Psalm 145:18 (NIV)

Excellent Training: Timothy P. of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “Praise the Lord! We have finished our month-long leadership training. We had 10 trainees, and it was excellent. The president of a Bible school attended the training and said these lessons should be taught among preachers. He plans to teach these lessons at his school, so students will become more effective in reaching others for Christ.”

Godly Inspiration: Manee Massey of GNPI-Damoh, India, says, “Every week we publish two short Gospel messages, and we recently produced a popular music video. We were pleased with the response as the music video received 1,000 views online in one day! In addition, the recordings of Sadhu teaching continue to go well; pray for him to have godly inspiration for his vignettes.”

Varied Opportunities: Isaac Masiga of GNPI-Nairobi, Kenya, says, “Praise the Lord for the varied opportunities we have to share the Gospel. Our team has been working on the Empowering the Church series, the Two As One Couples series on marriage, Humanitarian Leadership Academy projects, youth programs, and outreach programs. On July 13 and July 20, we will help with special events when churches unite to pray. The GNPI team will be covering the events and live streaming them on social media.”

Changed Lives: Gayle Silkwood of GNPI-Chiang Mai, Thailand, writes, “Praise the Lord for His work in the life of this young lady. You can watch Jumm’s testimony with English subtitles by clicking here to find out how she changed from a rebellious, lost girl to a beautiful, talented young woman who freely shares her Christian faith through the elegant art of Thai dancing. Interestingly, after we released Jumm’s testimony, her story became known on YouTube. She received an invitation to go on tour in May with a Thai dancing troupe. They performed at eleven venues in eight countries throughout Europe. Jumm was also our program host several months ago when our team traveled to Laos for a story about a Christian deaf ministry. Click here to watch it.”

Training Media Professionals: Stephen Muturi of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, writes, “We provided video coverage of the third LivingStone International University (LIU) graduation last month. Mike Schrage, executive director of GNPI, commissioned these graduates to go and serve as mature and empowered Kingdom workers. LIU continues to train students in different specialities, but our team is thankful to partner with them in training the next generation of media professionals who are ethical, empowered, and employable in every sector of society.”
