Prayers & Praises

My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. — Psalm 62:7 (NIV)

A Great Family: Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Eurasia writes, “The focus of my personal involvement has changed due to medical issues. My inability to teach and travel has made me even more appreciative of the great community of coworkers, partners, volunteers, and prayer warriors who are involved through teaching, preaching, content production, children ministry, publishing, writing, social networks, developing Internet resources, and in all of the other aspects of our ministry. We work together introducing the Truth to skeptics, strengthening the confidence of the saints in the Truth, and equipping God’s people to proclaim God’s Word effectively. What a great family we are! May the Lord be praised!”

Equipping Youth: Timothy P. of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “Thank you for your prayers. The Lord provided the opportunity for me to go to a youth conference with 1,200 young people to teach them about the true God. Our goal is to teach all students from high schools, colleges, universities, as well as government employees to use our resources to share about the true and living God, so I am working with church leaders for that purpose. If we can teach and equip all of these people, God will surely change SE Asia.”

Corridor of Hope: Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Manila, Philippines, writes, “Corridor of Hope is a support group for cancer patients at St. Luke’s Hospital. The patients used to wait for appointments in the corridor, and the mood was somber until one Christian lady began to encourage everyone by sharing Jesus with the other patients. She facilitated a support group which has continued even after the death of the founder. The group started at the main branch, but when the hospital opened another branch in Global City, the Corridor of Hope was also established there. This group at the branch has a Facebook page, and they are sharing our Faith Matters, too! programs on their page! I am deeply honored by this. Praise the Lord!”

Student Involvement: Gustavo Velázquez of GNPI-Piedras Negras, Mexico, writes, “We plan to visit area schools to share our short films designed for youth. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of those in the schools and for us to make the most of this opportunity to encourage the students in making careful decisions.”

Answered Prayer: Stephen Muturi of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, writes, “March was a month of answered prayer. We finally got the last certificate for our updated registration with the government, and we are currently working on the transition of our finances. Our hope is that everything will be ready by end of April. We were blessed to have several successful village and secondary school ministry outings over the last month.”
