Prayers & Praises
“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” — Isaiah 40:8 (NIV)
A Living Example: Protus Sibukule of Project Nomad-Eldoret, Kenya, writes, “Six years ago while showing Christian films at Tiling’wa village in East Pokot district, Mudang, a cattle rustler, happened to be among the viewers. The Lord used the film to change Mudang, and this was a turning point in his life. We prayed for him and led him to Christ Jesus. He was baptized and became a regular member of a local church. Since then Mudang has been instrumental in helping us with evangelism in the whole region of East Pokot. We have seen Mudang grow from a terrorist to a humble, caring, and loving disciple of Jesus Christ. He is now a living example to many Pokots. Praise Jesus!”
Working Hard: Lena L. of GNPI-Eurasia writes, “Praise the Lord! We are working hard on a few projects simultaneously! Our team is recording the Creation Moments audio series. We are producing the God’s Scientists series as well as the Why God? series with stock footage. We planned out music videos, wrote drafts for the scripts, and are now recording the music at the studio. While preparing for a music video, we decided to shoot a testimony of the featured artist. Den, the singer, had a long and hard walk before becoming a follower of Christ and a worship leader at a local church.”
Working Together: Stephen Muturi of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, “Praise the Lord! The office is running well with the team working together towards our mission. Now that the Marriage for Life is finally complete, we are developing DVDs and loading the content onto Solar Kits for distribution. We are excited by inquiries from people who have been following the project updates on Facebook. We are also working in partnership with Livingstone International University students to develop a film project on HIV/AIDS.”
Vision Night: Thank you for praying with us for our Vision Night events in Joplin, Indianapolis, and Phoenix. In total, 351 people attended and generously gave $78,751 to further accelerate global evangelism through media and technology.
Quiet Times: Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Manila, Philippines, writes, “Our Faith Matters, too! episodes are three-minute devotionals designed to bring the Word of God straight to mobile phones for busy commutes or end of the day reflections, creating opportunities for the quiet times people so desperately need. Topics range from the importance of personal reflection, family relationships, conflict, camaraderie, and the importance of Sabbath rest. Please pray that the Lord will use these programs to give hope and wisdom to Filipinos.”
