Prayers & Praises

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” — Hebrews 10:24 (NIV)

Redefining the Church: Isaac Masiga of GNPI-Nairobi, Kenya, writes, “Redefining the Church is a teaching series we started this year which covers various topics. We’ve already completed 13 lessons on biblical marriage. One of the programs is Life Outside the Garden. Please pray this series will encourage many families in a practical way.”

Exciting Progress: Habacuc Diaz of Project Nomad-Santiago, Chile, says, “I’m excited about what God is doing. We are investing our time in worship music for churches by working with local artists. We also produce micro documentaries on social issues to assist organizations who are helping homeless people in our city. In addition, we create resources to help teach the Bible in area congregations.”

Updating Schedules: Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Eurasia writes, “Praise the Lord! After the Ukrainian Evangelical Seminary discovered that our new course on Biblical Foundations for Anthropology is ready, they changed their schedule to teach it this semester instead of waiting until fall. The faculty wanted to make sure the students who are leaving the school this year won’t miss it.”

Touching Hearts: Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Manila, Philippines, recently received this message. “I stumbled upon your Faith Matters, too! video here on Facebook. I was touched and blessed by your video regarding guilty pleasures. I needed to hear and to know this, so thank you for your clear message from God’s Word.”

Living for Jesus: Timothy P. of GNPI-SE Asia shares a testimony from an evangelist who used GNPI materials to explain the Gospel. A woman from a village writes, “My husband and I learned about the true and living God. After listening to a teacher who visited our village, I realized that abandoning Jesus when I got married was wrong. The true God must be the one worthy of worship by all human beings. I realized that Jesus Christ is uncomparable with other gods. I repented from the wrong way I have been living as a Buddhist. I decided to be baptized and to follow Jesus until the last breath of my life. I am full of happiness and peace. All my children are different as well. They do not want to worship idols as others do.”
