“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” — 1 Peter 3:8 (NIV)
Stabilization: Pray for protection, peace, and stabilization for our Project Nomad-Kadiolo, Mali, team amid insecurity in Mali. One ministry partner reported several recent kidnappings of expatriates in Mali.
Active Involvement: Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Eurasia writes, “Praise the Lord! My recovery after four surgeries continues, and I am actively involved in teaching and training again. I’m teaching a Master’s level course for three groups of distance learning students and church leaders from Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus. It is a great joy to explore the role of apologetics in the biblical strategy of evangelism, importance of creation evangelism, historical veracity of the Scripture, and many other questions. One of their assignments was to go back to their homes and ministries and to share what they have learned. Please pray for these workers of the Lord!”
A Joyful Response: Timothy P., of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “A member of our team took one of our Solar Kits to a village and shared the Gospel. While the people were watching a video about the life of Christ, our coworker paused on certain sections and explained the story to them. The people responded with joy. They said this approach helped for them to understand the Bible and to convince their hearts of the Truth. They hadn’t understood through hearing or watching by themselves.”
The Karamojong Stories: Stephen Muturi of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, writes, “This new project starts with stories in Genesis and goes all the way to the New Testament. The stories are grouped in different sections: Jacob the Deceiver, Jacob’s Dream, Jacob and Laban, Jacob in Prison, Mighty Men of God, Servants of God, Jesus the Teacher, Jesus Lord and Saviour, and Jesus’ Death and Resurrection. Each story has a picture book and guide to go along with the audio recordings. It has been a new language learning venture for our production team. Please pray this project will help many Ugandans to know the Lord for the first time or to know Him better.”
Sharing Truth Through Solar Kits: Isaac Masiga of GNPI-Nairobi, Kenya, writes, “The Endorois people appreciate the chance to learn about Jesus. We visited this group of people a couple weeks ago and held a five day seminar. We showed The Global Gospel in Swahili on a Solar Kit and studied the Bible with them. Please pray for these new friends as they develop personal relationships with Christ.”
