Prayers & Praises

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). — Matthew 1:23 (NIV)

This Great Opportunity: Manee Massey of GNPI-Damoh, India, writes, “Our Christmas program this year is 24 minutes long with two music videos and a message. The program will be broadcast on Sony TV, one of the top TV channels in India, to over 40 million viewers on the morning of December 24. This program is also going to be made in Punjabi and will be broadcast on Punjabi National TV in India. Please pray for this great opportunity in our country where we can freely share the Gospel to masses without any restriction. We look forward to helping people to understand the true meaning of Christmas and to know Christ through our follow-up with those who contact us.”

Introducing People to Christ: Timothy P. of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “Thank you for your unceasing prayers and help. During my time in America, I have had opportunities to teach believers from SE Asia how to introduce people to Christ and had a chance to share with some unbelievers. These unbelievers told me they have never heard about these teachings of Jesus.”

Church Planting: Isaac Masiga of GNPI-Nairobi, Kenya, writes, “Our outreach to the Endorois people, a neglected people group in western Kenya, has been good so far, but the work is just beginning. Our ultimate goal is to help establish at least one church in the community. We have built rapport with the locals and started talking with them about securing a small piece of land to build a church. We work with two pastors. Our next action is to spend a week teaching about Jesus using The Global Gospel in Swahili with our Solar Kit.”

A Productive Year: Project Nomad Coordinator Mark Allen reports that training has been completed in 10 locations this year. GNPI trained 137 people in 2016, including those who received advanced training, to create programs to share the Good News with the maximum impact on their communities.”

National Book Fair Presentations: Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Eurasia writes, “Praise the Lord! By the end of the year we will have eight out of 12 science textbooks published in Ukrainian. Six of them were presented at the national book fair as we keep working to impact the post-communist education system.”
