Prayers & Praises

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” — Romans 15:13 (NIV)

National Television Broadcast: Manee Massey of GNPI-Damoh, India, writes, “We are preparing for our Christmas production. It is encouraging to reflect on how the Lord blessed our Easter broadcast on national television last spring. There were 40 million viewers, and then network showed the program three more times. We had 600 people, mostly Hindus, contact us from all over India. We sent out 56 customized sets of DVDs to the callers based on their needs for Bible teaching, music videos, children’s programs, resources to build relationships, or testimonies.”

Fabulous Feedback: Stephen Muturi of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, writes, “This year we worked alongside seven local evangelists to present the Gospel to over 8,000 people. Approximately 100 people gave their lives to Christ, according to feedback from the field reports. We pray for more outreach opportunities with students who are on holiday break this month.”

Changed Lives in Thailand: Gayle Silkwood of GNPI-Chiang Mai, Thailand, writes, “Praise the Lord for the ways He changes lives. Our team has recorded the testimony of a lady who attempted suicide three times in her troubled youth. Now she loves God’s Word and ministers to others alongside her husband. She also has a business that allows her to employ and encourage disadvantaged people.”

Urban Jungle: Isaac Masiga of GNPI-Nairobi, Kenya, writes, ”We are partnering with some young Christian guys to initiate a podcast channel called the Urban Jungle to create on-demand Christian content. This will add to our social media strategy and online audience reach. We recorded a spoken word series this week.”

Studio Completion: Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Manila, Philippines, writes, “We are thankful that our studio is almost finished! The workers are hanging the last batch of foam on the walls. Then they will be painting the floor and installing air conditioning. We should be able to tape our next batch of Faith Matters programs on December 6.”
