Prayers & Praises

“Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 (NLT)

Carrying Out His Mission: Simmi Dhingra of GNPI-Chandigarh, India, writes, “God is opening up new ways for the Gospel to be preached. We are blessed and fortunate to be chosen by God to carry out His mission in this part of India. We thank you for your prayers and for your support.”

Praying for God’s Movement: Pongdang of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “Our team is working on several activities. We are capturing video for a traditional Burmese song album. The Global Gospel in Burmese is almost done. We are preparing to work on The Global Gospel in the Karen language next. Then we want to work on the Miracles of Jesus project starting with the Rawang language. Later it will be translated into other tribal languages too. Pray for God’s movement in SE Asia through churches and evangelists to reach our people with the Good News.”

Building Bridges for Christ: Irene Nyagah of GNPI-Nairobi, Africa, writes, “Pray for our newest project to be a bridge for sharing the Gospel of Christ with Muslims. The i2 Project has a total of 19 episodes. We are editing the last episode now.”

Putting God’s Love into Action: Gustavo Velázquez of GNPI-Piedras Negras, Mexico, writes, “We are excited about a new project with Adolfo Garcia, a young man who has a ministry called With the Hands of Jesus. Our goal is to encourage Christians to put God’s love into action and not just say we believe His Word. Pray for us in this project. We will make a series of 12 videos. In addition, Adolfo delivered some GNPI materials, along with some food and clothing, to one the most marginalized places of the region.”

Partnering in Ministry: Othaina Eid of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, says, “We finished teaching two courses in video and audio production for LivingStone International University (LIU). It took a lot of time these last few months to coordinate the classes, but I managed. Our office partners with LIU to teach hands-on skills. We are actually planning to hire two of the graduating students this month. We will also be editing our marriage series soon.”
