“Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life . . .” — Psalm 23:6 (NLT)
GNPI Praises and Prayer Requests for May 2, 2016
Our Joy: Paul Thompson of FreeBibleimages writes, “Thanks for allowing us to publish the six sets of images from your videos on the Easter story. We managed to get these live just before Easter. In the first five days leading up to Good Friday, we had 6,330 GNPI presentation files downloaded (an average of 1,266 a day). Those viewing the GNPI sets in StoryView to tell the story on a mobile device were 6,819 (1,363 a day). We would love to put online all of The Global Gospel videos as sets of still images along with the text of the Bible commentary from the videos. We estimate that with all the sets online we could have over one million GNPI presentations downloaded each year. Our joy is in freely resourcing those teaching the Bible.”
Women’s Ministry Workshop: Simmi Dhingra of GNPI-Chandigarh, India, writes, “We concluded the women’s ministry workshop in March at three churches. The theme was, “You are a blessing.” At each workshop there were 300 to 350 ladies present. Pray for the women who gave their hearts to the Lord and accepted Him as their Savior. Pray they will remain firm in their belief and can be baptized soon.”
A Good Connection: Project Nomad Coordinator Mark Allen said, “Thank you for praying for the trip to South Africa. It went really well. Mark and Lynette Johnson from the Avalon Church of Christ in Virginia were a great asset and made a good connection to the team in Johannesburg. We were able to go through some advanced training as well as review basic areas of production to clarify and streamline the process. Now I am preparing for the next training event in Tamale, Ghana, May 7-15.”
God’s Favor: Pray for GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, to have God’s favor with government officials as they seek approval of the registration papers of this regional office.
We Are Excited: Abi Flores of GNPI-Piedras Negras, Mexico, writes, “We are excited about the opportunity to use The Global Gospel in Spanish on our radio station and to share it with other stations. Pray God will move in the hearts of those who hear His Word.”
