Prayers & Praises

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.” — John 11:25 (NLT)

Ready for Evangelism: Isaac Masiga of GNPI-Nairobi, Kenya, says, “Praise the Lord! We have a new Solar Kit prototype for Africa. It is ready to hit the road for some evangelism. It’s not as sophisticated as those assembled in other regional centers, but it will do the job for now. We’ve planned a road trip to an area near us called Mathare, then to the highlands of Eldoret, and finally to the Pokot area.”

Lift Us in Prayer: Pongdang of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “We are working on the audio recording of the Miracles of Jesus and trying to finish the scheduled projects for this month. The Global Gospel in Burmese is almost done. Please continually lift us in prayer, so these projects can help people apply God’s Word to their lives.”

Praising God: Gustavo Velázquez of GNPI-Piedras Negras, Mexico, says, “The music video recorded in Chicago by Jochy Tu Voluntad can be viewed on Vimeo, YouTube, and our main website at www.buenasnuevasradio.com. We pray our work will reach more people for Christ and encourage others in their faith.”

Following God’s Leading: Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Manila, Philippines, says, “Please pray for us because we always want to be in tune to what God wants. Pray for the speakers we need to get, the people we should put on our programs, or even the issues we need to tackle. We want to be sensitive to God’s leading.”

Celebrating a Life Well Lived: Tom Nutt, director of operations, writes, “More than 200 people came to the visitation in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to honor Gayle and pay tribute to Tom Silkwood’s life. They sang, read Scripture, and gave testimonies about Tom’s faith and service. There was laughter as they shared stories about Tom’s fun personality and sense of humor. We also had a memorial service to put to rest his earthly body and celebrate a life well lived! Please continue to pray for comfort and wisdom for Tom’s family and staff.”
