Partnership: An Anchor for Global Evangelism
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)
GNPI founder, Ziden Nutt, drove an anchor in the sand when he founded the global media and technology ministry on the basis of this passage of Scripture.
The task cited above, to grow God’s kingdom throughout the world, not only causes us to seek partnerships, it DEMANDS them. GNPI constantly partners with local churches, national workers, missionaries, AND strategically aligned organizations. These organizations may be based along with the hundreds of churches and individuals in the United States who provide us support, or they could be in other countries where GNPI is present or looking to expand.
We could mention many partners: Compassion Canada, SIL International, the International Bible Society, Keymedia, and so many more. These partnerships are effective because they have the same goal: telling the stories of Christ in compelling, creative, and culturally relevant ways.
While we work with very well-known and respected partners, to us, those that are less know are equally important. The widow who gives $25 a month to GNPI or a global philanthropy who gives a $250,000 grant, our desire for inclusion and our responsibility for effective stewardship are the same.
The Godhead effectively illustrates the value, and results, of effective partnership. When the Bride of Christ (or the Church) appeared, that partnership became even more personal. Is there any greater image of partnership than godly marriage?
GNPI values partnership because God values partnership. Whatever our collaborations look like, we want them to involve the same thing: service from us, for the benefit of others, to impact God’s kingdom. As we further God’s glory from shore to shore in our global community, partnership is our anchor.
