OneTribe Peace Project
Stephen Muturi, Operations Manager of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda
Our team in Uganda is working on a progressive and highly interactive peace project for refugees. The project includes intentional, yet simple radio dramas on practical ways to work through conflict and build peace. Ministry partners believe that making this material available in local languages will be a game changer!
We had a group of nine young people from South Sudan and some LivingStone International University students helping us translate the OneTribe Peace Project from English to Juba Arabic. They finished translations and recorded around 20 episodes for the first phase. We are editing and working to complete the project as we adjust to the new schedules of the students who returned to school. We plan to work on the remaining 20 episodes after we receive the scripts from our ministry partner.
It’s an honor to serve God through media and these new opportunities.
Join us in praying for God’s grace and favor to impact young Africans and their families.
