“I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus.” – 1 Corinthians 1:4 (NKJV)
“We just understood about Jesus!”
T.P. of GNPI-S.E. Asia shares about a coworker using GNPI materials in the area of J. since 2011. The coworker has used the publication, Is Jesus Christ the Lord God? to explain the Gospel. The coworker listed the names and villages of many families who gave a testimony like this one, “We just understood about Jesus Christ. We have accepted Him as the true and living God. Please teach our son also.” These families said they wanted to be baptized. Praise God for these new believers in Asia!
A Testimony of a Changed Life!
Gustavo Velázquez of GNPI-Mexico says their team is now editing a short film based on the true-life testimony of Raziel, who was caught in drug addiction, spent time in rehab, and then became a youth minister. Please pray for the team to have wisdom in their decisions about this project, so it will clearly communicate the hope of Christ to viewers.
“The Best That God Has Put Aside”
Isaac Masiga of GNPI-Kenya, Africa, asked that we pray for the successful completion of the last two episodes of Tumaini Hotel, the Life Challenge Assistance Project, and a cooperative movie with On-Field Media, A Distant Boat. Isaac said, “We are almost done with the sound design stage for A Distant Boat. In addition, please pray for the Swahili version of The Global Gospel . We are conducting auditions soon. We pray that we get the best that God has put aside for using in this project. Continue praying for Nelly’s uncle who’s still in Intensive Care from the Westgate attack. His bill has also accumulated to a huge amount.”
“A Fresh, Gentle Wind”
Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Ukraine says, “ I would like to share some exciting feedback we received from a Christian couple who are professors in several top level national universities in Siberia. Gennady Sidorov, Ph.D. (Biology) and Olga Shustova, Ph.D. (Philosophy) write, ‘Thank you so much for your wonderful resources! They are a fresh, gentle wind that helps to lead our young people in learning both the design of God’s creation and His holy will.’ May the Lord be praised!”
“Pray that the Lord will touch hearts.”
Tom Silkwood of GNPI-Thailand shares, “Please pray that the Lord will touch hearts in Thailand in response to those spreading the Gospel. Please pray that our efforts to raise the needed $2,000 per month to increase staff will be fruitful.” Tom and his wife, Gayle, have been ministering in Thailand for 32 years. They plan to finish their furlough and return to Thailand at the end of November.
