“. . . we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.” — 1 John 2:1 (NLT)
Your Prayers Were Effective: Executive Director Mike Schrage attended the 20th anniversary celebration of GNPI-Kenya on September 12. Mike said, “Your prayers were effective. The celebration included guests from the community, churches, non-government organizations, Christian ministries, and missionaries. A choir of street kids provided special music. A teacher from a nearby school said he appreciates how GNPI is all Kenyan. They deal with pertinent topics, and they welcome visitors from his school anytime. He said the integrity of the staff makes a difference. After things were put away from the celebration, it rained. It meant so much for Kenyans to see God’s blessing of rain in the dry season.”
Good News: TP, regional director of GNPI-SE Asia shares, “I have good news for the Kingdom of God. A young Muslim man, MT, realized he needed something to fill the emptiness in his heart. MT accepted Christ and was baptized. Pray for him as he continues to grow in Christ. There are so many people out there just like MT.
An Awesome Tool: Lena of GNPI-Ukraine shares, “Ministries in Crimea are combining efforts. We are partnering with another ministry for a huge audio Bible project. It will be recorded in the Crimean Tatar language and will include three voice actors. This will be an awesome tool to evangelize Muslims. We are thankful since we now have the time and the opportunity to partner with other ministries.”
God Refined My Passion: Timothy Jai Kumar from our NOMaD team in Chennai, India, writes, “I look back and see how God has refined my passion from producing print media to a wider vision of producing all kinds of media. God’s plan for us is always bigger than we think or imagine. I have a burden to take media training to every part of India in order to equip churches and ministries by training young people. These young people are already into technology but have no guidance about how to use it for God’s glory.”
Songs of Victory: Staff at GNPI-Mexico and Christian musician Danny Salazar are teaming up to distribute a special project, Songs of Victory 2015. Please pray this music will encourage and inspire many people who need victory in the Lord.
