Prayers & Praises
“Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” — Psalm 37:5 (NLT)
Because of God’s Grace! TP of GNPI-SE Asia shares, “Because of God’s grace He allowed me to speak in one house each day at the sixth youth conference in Malaysia. We talked about how to spread the Good News of Christ through media and how we can connect and share about this in Asia and internationally. One man came from Thailand, and I hope to go visit with him more later this year. I also left some of our materials with believers in KL. They can use these among Burmese speaking people.”
A Focus on Jesus! Tom Kilian of Mercy Partners writes, “We are very grateful for your partnership in ministry to those that are the ‘least of these’ in South Sudan, Ethiopia, and Uganda. Certainly God has chosen the foolishness of this world to shame the wise. Your Solar Kits have been received and will go a long way to provide a focus on Jesus to many who will come to trust in the Son. As you have come alongside us, we are encouraged. Please pray for peace for this area, for our ministry this month, and for safe travel.”
Outreach to Nepal! Simmi Dhingra of GNPI-Chandigarh, India, writes, “Contrary to popular belief, Nepal is predominantly a Hindu nation filled with strict Radical Hinduism groups. Buddhism falls in very far behind as a minor sect. Please continue to pray that God’s hand will remain on the dwindling situation of Nepal. Pray especially for the needs of the women and children there, and pray they will be brought to a saving knowledge of Jesus.”
Living Hope! Jesca Naavah of GNPI-Uganda shares, “Recently the Kampala Church of Christ choir recorded six songs here in Mbale. The choir is called the Living Hope Choir. The choir members are refugees who fled Congo and settled in Kampala about five years ago during the crisis there. It was great to have them here with us.” Praise God for rescuing all of us who run to Him.
Moving In! Sergio Alvarado of the NOMaD team in Pachuca, Mexico, writes, “The video studio is being moved to the new church building. We have been able to produce many training materials for Jubilee Christian Church and sister churches around the city. Pray for us as we adjust and hope to launch a website called iglesiascreativas.com (creative churches) by the end of 2015.”
