Unity in Spreading the Gospel! Simmi Deepak of GNPI-Chandigarh, India, writes of the need for a team to be sent to Bihar, India, where there was damage from the recent earthquake that devastated Nepal. Simmi writes, “Please pray that we can have resources reach out to these souls who are in very great need. In addition pray for our team to have God’s guidance, wisdom, and to be united in the goal of spreading the Gospel.”
Exciting Progress! We are down to funding the last three languages as we work to produce The Global Gospel in the world’s top 25 languages! Praise God for His faithfulness and for the cooperation of many generous people. Pray we can also find a production partner to help with the Turkish language.
Praying for Receptive Hearts! Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Philippines writes, “We are flying out early tomorrow morning to Tacloban, to show All Things New to the survivors of Typhoon Haiyan (which devastated this area in 2013). Many families have been given houses or have rebuilt themselves, but the area we’re going is not that stable yet. We are partnering with a group who has a ministry to families in this area. Thanks so much for praying that the seeds sown would find receptive hearts!”
High Demand for Media Productions! International Director Bob Sartoris and Director of Development Matt Brock recently visited our Nairobi office to participate in some meetings and strategic planning. There is a high demand for media productions, since a certain percentage of the television programming must be produced locally. Praise God for the opportunities of GNPI-Kenya.
Strong Growth! The purpose of project NOMaD, National Outreach using Media and Discipleship, is to equip nationals around the world with the resources needed to produce culturally relevant evangelism and discipleship media projects. There are now 16 teams in 11 different countries. Praise God for the growth of these teams and the outreach they are doing.
