Prayers & Praises
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” — 1 Timothy 2:1-2
More Frequent Atrocities! Robert from GNPI-Chandigarh, India, writes, “Atrocities committed on Christians have become more frequent in India, as you may be aware through news broadcasts. We request that you remember our team in your prayers so that we stand firm in our duties and commitment to our God. Pray that we may continue to preach the Gospel through media and reach those people who are still unaware of Jesus.”
Connections in Chile! Praise God for the expanding outreach in Chile. Plainfield Christian Church in Indiana has partnered with GNPI and the NOMaD team in Santiago to reach Chilean people more effectively. GNPI’s creative media designer, Greg Fish, recently went to Chile with three guests from Plainfield Christian Church to do some training for the NOMaD team in Santiago. GNPI is very blessed by the partnership of Plainfield Christian Church and the NOMaD team in Chile as they work together to build up the body of Christ.
Youth Convention in Monterrey! Recently Gustavo Velázquez, regional director of GNPI-Mexico, was invited to a youth convention in the city of Monterrey, Mexico. More than 230 young people attended this event. Gustavo had the opportunity to share about the ministry and scope of the outreach through mass media. At the same time he encouraged the young people to serve the Lord through ministry and in their churches.
Training Government Employees! Pong Dang of GNPI-SE Asia reports, “TP, our regional director, was recently invited to lead a training session specifically for government employees. He had the privilege of training employees on how to present the Gospel among Buddhists. About 80 government employees attended. Most of them were very happy and pleased with what he had shared. They are very encouraged and confessed that their minds were opened for evangelism.”
Steady and True! Church partners in Oklahoma share this encouraging prayer, “We know you serve steady and true, but often unnoticed. We just want to thank you for your work in so many parts of the world. Our prayer is for continued energy, funds, and workers. God is faithful.”
