This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. — 1 John 5:14
The People Were Touched Significantly! TP of SE Asia writes, “An evangelist visited our office last month, and he told us he has been ministering in two prisons and four villages for the last 10 years. In the past, he explained about God, but the people responded with silence. He said that when he used charts and the Handbook of Evangelism, the hearts of people were touched significantly. They accepted all he explained, and they are now digesting the Truth.” Praise God for this effective prison ministry in SE Asia.
Time of Transition! Jeff Silkwood of GNPI-Thailand writes, “It saddens me to inform you all that after much prayer and consideration, Mary and I have determined that we must return to the United States and start working there. We do not have the support needed to continue working in Thailand. Another reason is that our son, Josiah, had another seizure. He will be having some tests to figure out the best course of action. Once again, I thank you all for your prayers and your support. Although our time in Thailand was just a year, we have accomplished much and learned much. The work that I have been doing in Thailand will not end with our return to the United States. It will continue on with another person overseeing it.”
Challenges Open Opportunities for Ministry! Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Ukraine writes, “We have had great progress in making arrangements for Russian church leadership seminars at the Nieuwenhuis Training Center. We have several agreements with partners from Moscow and St. Petersburg, up to Khabarovsk (located in the most eastern corner of China). We also are now sending large amounts of books to Russia without customs fees and paperwork. Challenges of political turmoil open new opportunities for the ministry. Please join our prayers about these new avenues.”
Making Progress! Manee Massey of GNPI-Damoh, India, writes, “It was a blessing that our program was broadcast the day before Easter on national television at 6:00 p.m. Thanks for praying with us about that opportunity. We are making progress on our music sound track project. We are also providing new Solar Kits and 1,000 copies of The Global Gospel in Punjabi to our coworkers in northern India, as requested.”
A Radio Announcement! Abi Flores of GNPI-Mexico writes, “Our radio booth now has a better workspace, a module specifically for radio. We also installed another microphone to allow live interviews and improve broadcasting over the Internet. Thank you for your prayers for this growing part of our ministry.”
