Prayers & Praises

“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” — James 5:16

God Has Chosen Us to Share! Simmi Dhingra of GNPI-Chandigarh, India, writes, “Things are very busy with all the activities post-Easter. We had a great opportunity to celebrate Easter as we celebrated with hundreds of people and evangelized many others. We are so blessed that God has chosen us to share his love and prayer for all those who need him.”

Shadow of Flowers! Abi Flores of GNPI-Mexico writes, “We are working on the new short film about anorexia by preparing for the auditions and to go on location for the shooting of this short film. We have chosen to call it Shadow of Flowers. Please pray for God’s guidance for us.”

Scheduling Say It Forward! Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Philippines writes, “We have changed the name of our new series Life Matters to Faith Matters. The ministers we invited to participate are all busy with other responsibilities. For the other new series, Say It Forward, we have found the venue for it, and we are in the process of scheduling our first speaker. In the meantime, logos and music are being created for it. We plan to tape the first five talks this month. Please pray for these new projects to encourage Filipinos in their daily walk with the Lord.”

Praying God Will Go Before Us! Jesca Naavah of GNPI-Uganda writes, “We are preparing for the Masindi trip, which is in the northern part of Uganda. Our GNPI team will take a Solar Kit, which includes several of our projects for evangelism. We pray that God will go before the team, and we pray for protection too. We are doing well, and it’s now the rainy season here in Mbale.”

Practical Christian Ethics! Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Ukraine writes, “We have completed a new course on Practical Christian Ethics. I am pretty excited about this course, since this is a completely new area for people in the newly reorganized Ukraine and other post-communist countries. The topic opens doors for us to tell people about creation, God’s initial design for humankind, and the fall and redemption. We call this approach political apologetics. Please pray with us for this opportunity.”
