Prayers & Praises

“Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.” — 2 Corinthians 4:1

On-the-Spot Agreement! Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Philippines writes, “Last month we went to Malolos (about 20 miles away) and presented the GNPI ministry to six ministers and their wives from different towns within a five-mile radius. Four of the six pastors signed an on-the-spot, partnership agreement to use our materials responsibly and to pray for GNPI-Philippines on a regular basis. We left DVD copies of over 30 Asin at Ilaw lessons (grouped into topics), WWJD episodes, Worship series and All Things New. A few days later, I got a note from one of the pastors that he is planning to use All Things New in an evangelistic event very soon. We praise God for new partners and new opportunities here.”

Upcoming Production on Marriage! GNPI-Uganda shares, “Veteran missionaries, Fielden and Janet Allison, are updating some helpful lessons on marriage at GNPI-Uganda on March 25-30. Pray for their safe travel to Mbale, that their teaching will be effective, and for provision of funding for this project.”

The Global Gospel in Sindhi! We received an encouraging message from a Christian worker in Pakistan. Our friend said, “The recording of the Sindhi version of The Global Gospel started last week. We will be sending the files to you as soon as we have them prepared and ready for your review. We will be creating a few CDs for distribution. However, this project will be used most often by pastors and workers who will transfer the files to friends’ phones. There are four men working to record this project. Thanks for praying for these men.”

Continually Amazed! Jeff Silkwood of GNPI-Thailand writes, “My wife, Mary, and I are making the effort to travel to many nearby villages and towns. We set out to look for churches isolated around northern Thailand and supply them with resources, so they can be connected with the rest of the body of Christ. Programs like Movement Everywhere and the BEC programs offer means for people to be informed of God’s impact on the Thai people. We are continually amazed at what we find. We look forward to seeing how God will continue to work in our lives and the lives of others.”

Introspection in India! One of our ministry partners shares, “This will be an intense week. We are working on a project with GNPI. A team of Indians and westerners will work together to evaluate the effectiveness of The Global Gospel. Please pray for those involved to have relational and cultural sensitivity and great wisdom.”
