Prayers & Praises

“The Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One.” — Jeremiah 20:11

La Cosecha (The Harvest)! Sergio Alvarado of the NOMaD team in Pachuca, Mexico writes, “We have helped several churches and missionaries who have requested our assistance. One of those projects is La Cosecha (The Harvest), a series of 19 discipleship Bible studies with the church pastor, lasting about 40 minutes each. Please pray that God will help these churches grow and multiply.”

Happy to be part of the development! Jesca Naavah of GNPI-Uganda reviews some of the highlights of last year. She writes, “The production team helped Livingstone International University (LIU) produce some audio and video advertisements, which helped LIU to recruit new students. We were so happy to be part of the growth and development of the community through our services. There was also the Messiah Theological Institute (MTI) graduation ceremony. We also took part in covering the MTI ceremony and witnessing the impact of these courses to the local pastors. The Digital African Studies by Extension (DASE) program, Life of Christ, by Pastor Dennis Okoth is now in the editing process. We are looking forward to another year filled with God’s grace.”

Up Close and Personal! Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Philippines writes, “I have seen changes in the attitudes of some personal friends after they watched the WWJD episode, Sexual Identity. One friend said, ‘I watched your video, and I was touched by it.’ I thank the Lord for opportunities to see changes, up close and personal, because of something we did. They may not be thousands of people, but I am thankful that the changes are genuine.”

New Life on New Year’s Eve! Protus Sibukule of the NOMaD team in Eldoret, Kenya, writes, “We thank our Almighty God for sustaining us. He is Ebenezer indeed! I did an evangelistic outreach in various areas in December. God was so gracious and loving by allowing us to reach to remote areas such as Lwakhakha, an area near the border of Uganda and Kenya. On New Year’s Eve, we showed our Christian films after doing house-to-house evangelism, and many accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and were baptized. Praise God!”

By the Grace of Our Lord! Pong Dang of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “This week, the power supply of all our duplicators burned up due to power unstableness. However, by the grace of our Lord, we were able to repair this quickly and get back to work. One of our projects is recording an audio message to use in a short movie about the True God, whom every nation must worship. HT, a native speaker, has a good speaking voice, and we are thankful for his help. Thank you for remembering us in your prayers.”
