Prayers & Praises
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.” — Isaiah 26:3-4
Like a Healing Touch!
Robert of GNPI-Chandigarh, India, writes, “Last Saturday, GNPI staff members packed our bags and went to a lepers’ colony to preach through our Solar Kits. Life seemed to spring back into people as we entered the colony. We carried in some children’s Bible stories and even showed The Passion of the Christ movie to the adults. We started with a short prayer asking God to restore their faith. The Passion of the Christ film was like a healing touch to them as they saw how Jesus was beaten, punished, and tortured for our iniquities. We reminded them of God’s love for us. Throughout the whole day, we recounted many occasions from the Bible where Jesus performed miracles by healing the sick, the lepers, and raising the dead. There were many who wanted to accept Jesus as their Master and Savior, and everyone was joyful at the promise of Jesus’ return.”
A New Live Show!
Gustavo Velázquez of GNPI-Mexico says, “Please pray for a new, live show that will begin this month at the radio station. The program, Breath of Heaven, will be a program of reflection on the Psalms led by a local pastor, Raul Hernandez. Pray that this new program will help the audience know more about God and how he works. Also, we are launching the third edition of the short film No Return.”
Within a Few Months!
A missionary in eastern Europe writes, “Last week, we finalized some details to complete The Global Gospel. It was great! We have actors ready to start and the script already prepared. It should be done within a few months and ready to hit the airwaves!” Please pray this new version will change lives as people learn about the life of Christ.
Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Ukraine writes, “Our main upcoming project is Tvorets (The Creator) Children’s Camp in June. We are not going to do it in a camping setting this year (due to safety issues). It will be a day camp at the church facilities. It will be a great evangelistic project as well, since we are inviting kids from the neighborhood. Not many of the kids will have opportunity to go somewhere this summer. People ask lots of good questions in times of trouble, and we can help them find the answers through their kids. Please pray with us for the camp preparation.”
A Newly Opened Door!
Jesca of GNPI-Uganda writes, “Last week was a great week. We worked on a project with Livingstone International University (LIU). Another company contacted us to say they love the work we did for LIU. They would like to work with us also. We thank God for this newly opened door.”
