Prayers & Praises

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. – 1 Chronicles 16:34

A special blessing for GNPI this month was our first International Hour of Prayer a couple weeks ago. Using the Internet and some video conferencing software, we connected each of the nine regional centers, our Joplin staff, and a few other staff members scattered throughout the U.S. Each center prayed for the needs of another. We did have trouble with a couple of the connections, but we look forward to trying again and prioritizing ministry-wide prayer time every six months.

Jesca of GNPI-Uganda writes, “It was such a great opportunity to pray together as a big GNPI Family. At this point, I have to appreciate technology because I was able to see most of the GNPI family members as well as workmates. Wow! I was so grateful and am looking forward to the next time we will do this.”

Lena of GNPI-Ukraine says, “It was a wonderful time of unity and care. Some of my staff, who do not really get in touch with GNPI very often, were so excited about the prayer. They realized how hard the restrictions are on evangelism in some parts of the world after having the real face-to-face fellowship time. Thank you so very much! It was truly encouraging and unifying!”

Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Philippines shares, “THAT WAS SO AWESOME! THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. It made it doubly special because my churchmates stayed up to the very end. We were all so encouraged by it.”
T.P. of GNPI-S.E. Asia writes, “We, 6 people, prayed together, one after another. The video was not working well. We were sorry for that. Thank you for this prayer time. We were so encouraged by it. This prayer time was excellent. We would like to do it 4 times per year if it is not a burden for other centers.”

Manee of GNPI-Damoh, India, was traveling that day but writes, ”I really missed the great opportunity. Even though we were not able to log in, Ukraine was in our prayers. We got good feedback from our Damoh Staff as they really enjoyed this prayer time. Hope to connect for the next one.”

Former Advisory Council Member Boyce Mouton wrote, “Thanks for allowing me to be there this morning for the teleconference. Here’s a thought about communicating from a distance that I jotted down after coming back to the office: Let’s make certain that, like Paul, we use ‘all possible means’ to save those who are lost!”

Board Chairman Don Lucietta said of the prayer conference, “It was such a great blessing to me to be able to be there.”

We also want to thank each of you prayer partners for playing such an important part in this ministry throughout the entire year. Happy Thanksgiving!
