Good Evening

Good Evening

Gustavo Velázquez, Regional Director of GNPI-Piedras Negras, Mexico

Our live Tuesday and Thursday morning program, Resplandece (Shine) with Abi Flores, is geared towards young people who are looking for practical and simple solutions as they deal with current issues.

The format has been so popular that I began hosting another live program, Buenas Tardes (Good Evening), every Monday and Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm. Buenas Tardes has a varied and dynamic content with reflective anecdotes, health issues, and a Message from the Word of God. It is very good to have interaction with the audience and to offer them this biblical encouragement.

Recently a student from a Bible College in Piedras Negras visited the hospital to pray for the patients and to share Christ with them. The student met a young man named Armando Lopez who gave his life to Jesus. He’d heard our first Buenas Tardes show and was excited when we greeted him over the radio. The theme of the program that day was “Jesus, teach us to pray, and Armando was very happy to learn more about prayer. ”
