About the Center: In 1994, Good News Productions, International had the opportunity to birth a weekly broadcast in the capital city of Manila located in the Philippines. This program, called Asin at Ilaw (Salt and Light), was designed for national television broadcast and is a great example of partnership between GNPI and local churches that are already established. Due to the success and growing partnership with these churches, a regional center was established in 1998 to carry on this work. GNPI-Philippines continues to produce Asin at Ilaw (a weekly Bible teaching program). Since the program began in 1994, it has won many awards for broadcast quality, relevant content, and spiritual guidance. Asin at Ilaw addresses daily issues that people face and shows biblical living in an imperfect world. The positive response is evidence of its effectiveness and relevance. Contact information is shared at the end of each airing that gives viewers an opportunity to get in touch with local Christians who can answer questions or pray with them. Many lives have been changed as a direct result of this program.

All Things New is a movie produced by GNPI-Philippines on location in the Philippines. It shows the stories, in drama format, of four street kids. This hard-hitting, award-winning drama has sensitized the country to the needs of street children today.
