Stephen Muturi, Operations Manager of GNPI-Mbale, Uganda, shares the following testimony of a minister who has been using a Solar Kit from GNPI.
My name is Michael Simbwa. I am a minister at the Mityana Church of Christ in the central region of the country. I have been a Christian for over 20 years. My parents are of the Catholic faith. I decided to take a different path in school when I gave my life to Christ. The call to evangelize has been full of challenges, but Jesus prepared us.
One of the reasons I became an evangelist was to reach as many people as possible. The great commission is dear to my heart. It is with this that I have kept the faith, committed myself to mission work even with financial and social among other challenges facing people who go into full time ministry.
I was introduced to GNPI in 2010 soon after they opened the office in Uganda. By then I was actively involved in evangelism and ministry in my village, Bikhonge, Bulambuli district. Having the Solar Kits has been more than a blessing to my call. When preaching to people, every pastor hopes to get many people’s attention. This can be hard when people are very busy trying to make a living.
I cannot thank God enough for what He has achieved through the Solar Kits. I never imagined I would travel to places outside my village but the numbers the films attract inspire me. I have reached so many people, something that I would never have done without the use of this portable technology.
I testify that God is never limited by anything. He can reach people in the farthest of places. I am humbled to be His vessel of ministry. GNPI makes the journey easier.
I am glad for the partnership.
