Project Nomad-Eldoret, Kenya, was the first Project Nomad team, created in 2008, and they continue to create strategically relevant videos addressing a wide range of topics related to culture and the Gospel Message. The team works with many communities within the Great Rift Valley, such as the Pokot, Tugens, Marakwets, and Turkanas. There are a lot of inter-community conflicts and wars revolving around cattle rustling in these areas. With the help of a GNPI Solar Kit, the team started showing films and self-produced videos that addressed a wide range of subjects, with the message centered on Jesus Christ as the Prince of Peace. As a result, inter-community conflicts have drastically decreased and these communities meet together in newly planted churches to solve their problems amicably with love.
