The Galilean Awards is an event in India that is very similar to the Dove Awards in the United States. Awards are given in such categories as music, television, and film. David Lall, continental director for India, was honored for his trailblazing efforts in Christian communication. To let us know of his honor, David wrote,

“I am humbled to inform you that I was given an award in the ‘Special’ category for my involvement in Christian visual media in India . . . I thank the Lord for helping me in my ministry and making me worthy to receive this award.”

The ceremony was held in Bombay on January 15, 2008. It was attended by many movie stars and others in Christian media.
