Stay and Pray is an opportunity for you to be strategically involved through prayer in the ministry of Good News Productions, International. We want to invite you to come to the campus of GNPI in Joplin, Missouri and spend a few hours, or even a few days in dedicated prayer for the ministry. God has blessed the ministry with an apartment and some sleeping rooms that could be used by you—our partners. Visitors would be able to use the Don DeWelt Strategic Planning and Prayer center, the Prayer Walk, or simply go from room to room praying for the staff, and learning more about certain aspects of the ministry from around the world that need to be covered in prayer.

In Luke 2:25-35 we read about a devout man by the name of Simeon who came to God's temple by the Holy Spirit to bless God when Jesus was eight days old. He had spent so much time waiting for what God was preparing for Israel that he readily recognized the God-child, Jesus. His understanding of the situation and his subsequent prophecy made Joseph and Mary marvel. The Holy Spirit had promised Simeon that he would not see death until he saw with his own eyes that which he had been promised in his prayers.

The leadership of GNPI believes that your prayers, like Simeon’s, could be a way of receiving God's direction and presence in an even greater way. You would provide your time, transportation, and your meals. We would provide a comfortable room with a place to sleep and a list of things to pray for as you enter the throne room of God. As a participating partner, you could sing, pray, fast, rest, and read scripture—all unto the Lord. There would be no organized services or events, no guaranteed audience—simply a concentrated time of seeking God's kingdom with the Heavenly Father.
