Prayers & Praises

“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2 (NLT)

This Wonderful Gift: A Christian worker in India sent us this message of thanks. “I can’t tell you how useful the Solar Kit has been. We were able to use it in 27 different villages already, and almost 2,000 people attended our Gospel film programs. We had 138 people give their lives to Jesus because of these Gospel presentations. In one village the whole tribe gave their lives to Jesus. We are experiencing a lot of persecution, but God is opening doors. In one particular village the extremists came, and they threw the projector on the ground. We were afraid the projector had been damaged, but it is working perfectly. We thank God for GNPI. Thank you so much for giving us this wonderful gift to reach out to the lost in India.”

A Great Adventure: Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Ukraine says, “Georges Carillet and Rick Deighton, two Christian brothers who have devoted many years to serving the Lord in eastern Europe, recently visited Ukraine. We have a great history of joyfully working together in various ministries and projects, so we decided to go visit all our Crimean friends and co-workers who are scattered throughout Western Ukraine. Praise the Lord for this great adventure of mutual edification and sharing with each other how the Lord is using the troubles of the world for the glory of the Kingdom. Nothing can replace the joy of sharing fellowship, meals, and prayers in person.”

Dust: Habacuc Diaz of the Nomad team in Chile says, “Praise God for helping us! In addition to the new worship songs, our team hopes to complete a Bible series on finances as well as a series called Spiritual Life in a Digital World, a guide to help parents keep their kids safe while on the Internet. We continue to work on the Searching series with skateboarders and to offer video support for the pro-life Sabies Que organization. We are finalizing a promotional package for our team, now called “Dust,” which includes a new website, print materials, and business cards.”

Our Team in Prison: Tom Silkwood of GNPI-Thailand says, “This morning our team was in a prison to record an interview with a prisoner. God has led this prisoner to repent and to prepare to live like the apostle Paul. He loves to share how God changed his life. Today he lives in the prison with peace in God. We also praise the Lord as the seventh episode of Movement Everywhere is coming soon.”

Focusing on Forgiveness: Isaac Masiga of GNPI-Kenya writes, “We’re shooting another public service announcement this week about forgiveness. Please pray for a successful production. We are grateful for your continual support and prayers.”
