Prayers & Praises

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” — Psalm 23:1-3 (NIV)

Making Preparations: Gayle Silkwood of GNPI-Chiang Mai, Thailand, reports, “Our team is preparing to go and present the Gospel to a village where only one of the 80 families claims to follow Christ. Our goals at the office include producing 12 Biblical Extension Courses (BEC) in Thai, six Movement Everywhere programs, and six Changed programs in the next year.”

Successful Completion: Project Nomad Coordinator Mark Allen writes, “Praise the Lord! Despite the typhoon and other issues, our training went well in Hong Kong, with the students understanding the process of creating videos and developing strategic planning options for their projects. Fourteen students successfully completed the class.”

Training Leaders: Sergei Golovin of GNPI-Eurasia writes, “We started a new project in partnership with Vision International University. It includes creating a video recording of training courses for Christian leaders from remote and restricted areas who are not able to attend our regular training lessons. Practical Christian Ethics was the first course we recorded. Please keep this project in your prayers.”

From Words to Deeds: Gustavo Velázquez of GNPI-Piedras Negras, Mexico, says, “Our new series, From Words to Deeds, includes 10 short videos about Christian people with some profession, office, or ministry of service to others. Our objectives are to inspire the audience through these testimonies and to present the Gospel in practical ways.”

Pray for a Movement: Timothy P. of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “We are finalizing the updated version of The Global Gospel in Burmese, the audio for a worship album in Rawang, and the video editing of a traditional worship album. Join us in prayer that God will start a movement in our country and surrounding countries to follow Christ.”
