“Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ . . .” — 2 Corinthians 1:21 (NIV)
People Coming to Christ: Timothy P. of GNPI-SE Asia writes, “Thank you very much for your prayers. God continues to answer them and bring people to Christ. Last week, our evangelists told me that 12 people accepted Christ in one location, nine people in another place, and 40 people in another. With the help of our media tools, people are able to understand and know the true God. Praise the Lord! Our ministry partner ZDK has established another new church along the border.”
The Global Gospel Upgrade: We have taken the 88 stories of The Global Gospel and divided them into 107 so that some of the longer segments can be more easily adapted for various applications on mobile devices. The Scriptures and content are exactly the same, but the music has changed slightly and the resolution has been enhanced for better clarity. All future recordings will be recorded into the 107 stories, and as time allows we will go back and divide the previously recorded versions. We have completed over 20 versions that can be viewed online, and there are around 15 additional versions in the progress. Please continue to pray with us that these simple stories can be used to touch the hearts of people around the globe.
A Big Hit: A Christian worker in Eastern Europe writes, “We opened the website this year and also use our Facebook page to get the Word out, and we’ve had excellent responses. The Global Gospel, and other Scripture, is being shared widely around this country through these pages. A post with a video (mostly clips of The Global Gospel) +$10 advertising reaches 60,000+ people, and 50 percent of them are engaged by watching, liking, or commenting on the post. The Global Gospel seems to be a hit. We are excited about the potential.
WWJD Exposure: Nenette Pacoli of GNPI-Manila, Philippines, writes, “As you know, we have a new host for WWJD this season, Noel Pabiona; he is the Country Director of Compassion International in the Philippines. They have released their newsletter, and GNPI is introduced on page four. They actually printed the entire transcripts of our first two episodes as well. This newsletter goes to their wide network of ministry partners and coworkers all over the Philippines. In addition, we saw a lot of comments about these programs on Voter Education on our Facebook page as viewers were rooting for their candidates. Pray for our new leaders following this month’s elections.”
Youth Summit: Gustavo Velázquez of GNPI-Piedras Negras, Mexico, says, “A few weeks ago I was invited to participate in the Youth Summit in Monterrey, Mexico. I had the opportunity to talk about the + Vida app with more than 300 young people. My coworker, Abi, and I explained the benefits of the app and how it can help them in their spiritual growth. We also made a promotional video of the app to share at the event, on social networks, and on our website.”
